corsproxy.io acts as an intermediary server between your browser and the target server. Normally, browsers restrict direct access to different origins. When you pass a URL to this service, it sends the request on your behalf. It then returns the response with headers such as Access-Control-Allow-Origin: *, allowing the browser to treat it as a permitted request. In other words, it doesn’t bypass CORS, but transforms the response into an allowed form.
